Pittsburgh Heavy Metal Band "Greywalker" to Release Album : Review

Pittsburgh's own Greywalker is set to release their long awaited full length album Without Control this month. The album is a follow up to their 2015 LP Beyond All Mortal.

Without Control brings the same punch of heart pounding bass and drum rhythms, dueling guitar riffs and heavy vocals that fans know from their previous pieces. But the perfect marriage of all three elements in this upcoming album is truly a match made in hell for all American heavy metal lovers.

Tracks like "Gold Lust" and "Your Sins" give you a pure shot of aggression you desire from a band like this, while tracks like "Hollow Days" offer a more melodic touch, particularly in the supporting vocals. This gives a more dynamic depth to the band as artists in general. Regardless, the pure talent of these guys is undeniable. Everything in the album is so sharp. The riffs are impressive, quick, tight, and all other elements are right in sync. The band delivers the same raw energy on stage with every performance and that's where their talent really shines through.

Without Control was recorded in part by Pittsburgh's own Matt Very at Very Tight Recordings (Code Orange, Anti-Flag) and was mastered by the legendary, award-winning engineer Alan Douches (Cannibal Corpse, Every Time I die.)

Without Control is set to release on July 6th, and you can celebrate with the band at the Rex Theatre that night for their album release show.

To prepare for the upcoming release, as well as future performances, follow the band on Spotify, Facebook and Instagram.
